stand for something good

who ever wrote the rule that fast food can’t be great food?

shake shack started in 2001 as a hot dog stand to support acclaimed thai artist navin rawanchaikul “i heart taxi” exhibition in new york city’s madison square park for the public art fund's “art in the park” contemporary art series.

nearly 22 years later, shake shack is partnering with navin again in his home country to create art for shack shack’s first location. construction kicked off with a mural by navin and his studio-ok.

the art is a continuation of his “i heart taxi” installation with the taximan character journeying from nyc to bangkok. characters from the two cities come together on the vibrant mural and include rawanchaikul, his daughter mari, shake shack’s founder danny meyer and ceo randy garutti.
